Our installation team recently completed a five-head mini-split system installation for a new construction home in Huntingdon, TN. Before starting work, we conducted a thorough site assessment with the homeowner and her builder. This helped us determine the best placement for both the indoor units and outdoor condenser.
The installation began with carefully routing the copper refrigerant lines throughout the home. We then mounted all five indoor units, making sure each was perfectly level and aligned. All refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and electrical connections were completed according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
The outdoor unit was installed on a stable, level surface with proper clearance for airflow and future maintenance access. We connected all refrigerant lines and electrical wiring with the same precision used for the indoor components.
Once all units were in place, we focused on the critical connections between them. The refrigerant lines were expertly run and insulated for proper sizing and leak-free performance. We evacuated the lines to remove any moisture or gases, which helps ensure long-term reliability. The system was then charged with the exact refrigerant type and amount specified by the manufacturer.
We conducted thorough testing to verify the system worked properly in all modes. This included testing cooling, heating, airflow, and temperature control. After successful testing, Blankenship Heating and Cooling provided the homeowner with complete operating instructions. We explained thermostat settings, recommended maintenance, and warranty coverage.
The homeowner was completely satisfied with the installation process and is now enjoying the comfort and efficiency of her new mini-split system.
