Can you just simply change out your unit? ABSOLUTELY! Mrs. Brunt decided it was time to change out her Rheem unit. The Blankenship crew went over and started evaluating the job site, including existing ductwork, electrical connections, and gas lines. After identifying any potential challenges or obstacles, they safely disconnected and removed the old gas package unit, including refrigerant recovery and disposal. Next, they installed the new 2-ton gas package according to the manufacturer's specifications and local building codes. Once the new unit was set, the guys connected the unit to the electrical system, ensuring proper grounding, connected the gas line to the unit, checked for proper connection to the existing ductwork for optimal airflow, charged the system with the correct amount of refrigerant, and performed the startup and testing procedure to verify proper operation. Mrs. Brunt was very pleased with her new gas package unit!
