Miss Ray called our office one day in search of someone who could service and clean her unit. After speaking with the lovely office staff at Blankenship Heating and Cooling, she learned about our annual maintenance agreements. With this type of agreement, a customer will get two cleanings on their unit. We typically do one in the spring and the other in the fall. Our trained and certified technicians check over every aspect of the unit while they are there, assuring the unit is back up to factory specs by the time they leave. This type of agreement is highly recommended in order to keep the unit running at peak efficiency! Feel free to give us a call for all of your maintenance needs!

Absolutely amazing people!!! They came out to do my regular bi-yearly cleaning and they were here for over an hour and half!! They fixed some wiring that I had hit with my weed eater at no extra charge and put it out of the way where I couldn’t get it again. The two gentlemen were extremely kind and really took their time in making sure that everything was done exactly like it was supposed to be done. I am super super satisfied with the service received!! I highly recommend them.
This project highlights a successful residential HVAC upgrade, completed under a TVA-financed initiative aimed at improving energy efficiency and homeowner comfort in the Tennessee Valley. Our team meticulously executed the installation of a new, high-performance heating and cooling system, delivering an immediate and lasting impact for the homeowners. A brand-new, energy-efficient 3.5-ton package heat pump unit was expertly installed for Mr. Woodby. This included all necessary electrical connections, refrigerant line sets, and secure mounting, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all local codes and industry standards. The existing return air duct was completely replaced with a new, properly sized 16-inch return duct. This upgrade significantly improves airflow dynamics, enhancing the unit's efficiency and overall system performance by allowing for better air circulation back to the unit. Two critical supply air lines were replaced. This ensures efficient and consistent distribution of conditioned air throughout the living space, eliminating potential airflow restrictions and improving comfort in key areas of the home. Following the physical installation, the entire HVAC system underwent a comprehensive commissioning process. This included: *Refrigerant charge verification and adjustment. *Electrical system checks and safety confirmations. *Airflow balancing across all supply registers. *Operational testing in both heating and cooling modes to ensure peak efficiency and quiet operation. *Homeowner orientation on the new system's features and maintenance requirements. This TVA-financed project not only upgraded the homeowner's comfort system but also contributed to regional energy efficiency goals. The new 3.5-ton heat pump, coupled with optimized ductwork, will significantly reduce energy consumption and lower utility bills, demonstrating the tangible benefits of investing in modern HVAC technology. The completed work ensures a reliable, efficient, and comfortable indoor environment for years to come.
